What is the referral program?

The referral program is an easy way to share Xano with others, rewarding your friends for trying Xano, you for recommending it, and your Organization for making a successful referral.

Who can participate in the program?

Anyone who isn't currently on the free account can be a referrer, and anyone who's not already using Xano can be referred.

How much do I get paid by participating in the Xano Referral Program?

Xano current promotion pays a 10% referral to you and 10% discount incentive to your potential referral.
Xano pays the referral % as long as the new customer is subscribed to a Xano paid plan with a maximum payout time frame of 1 year.

How do I refer my friends to Xano?

Just share your unique referral link, which you can find within the Xano partner portal. All your friends will need to do is click on that link, and they'll be guided through the sign-up process on the packages page. And, they're referred!

What is considered a successful referral?

A referral is successful when:
  1. 1.
    A user new to Xano signs up using your unique referral link, or
  2. 2.
    Both the referrer & referee are not the same entity or person.
  3. 3.
    Register a deal located in the Partner Portal under Deals.
  4. 4.
    Successfully pays a minimum of one month’s subscription.

How will I know when I've successfully referred someone?

You can track the status of your referrals in the Partner Portal.

Who can I refer?

You can refer to any business that has not previously started a Xano free account and is not currently a customer of a Xano partner.

What is the criteria for an eligible referral?

New Xano customers who have not previously signed up for a Xano free account are eligible as a potential referral. You are eligible to receive reward payments for your referred customer for the first calendar year. To be eligible to earn higher % rates, you may apply to join the Xano Reseller Program.
Your referral link can be found in the welcome link in the partner portal and in an email you received after registering for the program. The email was sent from the Xano Referral Program and you should receive it within 24 hours.
If you can’t find your welcome email, please call (818) 293-7431 or email [email protected] with your name and the email address you signed up with and a representative will assist you.

How much can I earn?

As a member of the Xano Referral Partner Program, you can earn % for every new user that signs-up to a paid Xano package using your unique referral link: Xano Plans include $67 (for the Xano Launch plan) or $225 (for the Xano Scale plan).
Your referral reward amount will be based on the number of users who have paid for at least one month.

Is there a way for me to track the status of my referrals?

You can track your referrals via the Xano Partner portal. In the portal you can monitor all your converted paid referrals: Referrals that completed their 30 days as paying Xano account holder.

My referral forgot to use my referral link. Is there a way to track it back to my account?

We’re unable to track referrals back to your account if they did not use your referral link at the time they signed up.

Can I get paid for previous customers I referred before signing up to the Referral Program?

The Referral Program tracks referrals that are new Xano customers. We cannot grant referral credits to customers who have signed up or started with a Free account before the program launched or you joined.

Can I refer customers in any country?

Promotion Codes

Types of referrals

Basic Referral: give your potential referrals 10% off incentive.

How does a promo code discount work?

If you provide a promo code to one of your referrals, they are entitled to a per-user discount of 10% for the first year as a Xano customer. Your referrals can enter their promo code during the checkout under the promotion code “section” in the billing section during checkout.
Each promotion code is unique and can only be redeemed by one customer.

When should my referral use my promotion code?

Xano offers a limited “free” account. When the customer is ready to provide their billing information before they are ready to start utilizing Xano as a product and move to a paid plan, they should enter your promotion code.

My referral forgot to use their promotion code I provided. Can he/she still get the discount?

Your referral can use the promotion code as long as they have not input their billing info yet. If they have signed up for the free limited account, then they still have an opportunity to utilize the discount code upon migrating to a paid plan.

Payment

When and how will I get paid?

You will be eligible for payment once your referral has been a paid Xano customer for at least 30 days.
Once you’re eligible for your first payment, you will receive an email asking for your banking information.
On the 1st & 15th of any given month, following the referrals you made that are eligible for payments, you will receive a direct deposit in your bank account for any payments you earned.

How do I avoid payment delays?

Once your first referral has been a paying Xano user for more than 30 days, you will receive an email with instructions on how to provide your bank information so that you can receive your payment. Once you receive the email, you will have 2 more weeks to provide us your bank information in order to get paid in the next payment cycle.
If you miss the time frame to provide your bank information, you will experience a delay receiving your payment since your window for that month will have closed. However, you will still be able to get paid. Once you provide your bank information, your payment will be processed during the following month's cycle.

Why haven’t I received my payment in my bank account?

Payments are processed on a monthly basis. If you did not receive a payment, you will likely receive it during next month’s payment cycle. Please contact us at [email protected] (818) 293-7431 with your account details to verify.

Why is my bank charging me fees?

We have heard from some fellow referrers that they have had to pay some bank "fees" when receiving the payment through their bank. This will depend on your bank exclusively. Please also note that Xano does not cover these fees. You will have to contact your bank for more information.

Why is my bank converting the currency for my referrals to my local currency?

Your bank may have to convert the currency of your referral into your local currency. Depending on which country your referral is from Xano has no control over the exchange rate and fees associated with this.

My bank is charging me fees that are larger than my referral bonus. Can I hold my payment until my referral bonus reaches $?

Contact us to request a hold to your payment until your referral reaches $XXX.
Depending on the wire transfer fees, currency conversion or any other bank associated fees that are due to the time when you receive your first payment. You can contact our support team at [email protected] or (818) 293-7431 to request a payment hold until you have reached a certain amount of referral bonus that will cover these initial bank fees and you will then collect that payment once you have reached that referral desired amount.
